When do you do a 3000m3 pour in central London?

It’s Friday night and a bank holiday weekend but the Camfaud team are set up and ready to start a 36hr shift for PJ Careys. Due to the site constraints at 1 Leadenhall Street, the pumps needed for this mammoth volume of concrete had to come from our small boom and static fleet. 28m and 20m Schwing – Stetter mobiles, a 36m Cifa mobile and a 1409 Putzmeister static all worked together to complete the pour well ahead of schedule. London Concrete supplied the ready-mix with the first load pumped at 18.30pm on Friday evening and the last load at 22.30pm Saturday night. The average pour rate to achieve a 3000m3 pour in 28hrs is over 107m3 per hour ! Well done to all involved. Great planning and great teamwork.
