We have just taken delivery of a new Schwing 24 metre concrete boom pump<\/a>. It has a 90 cubic metre \/ hour pump with a long, 2000mm piston stroke and 200mm pistons making it a very versatile mobile concrete pump<\/a>. It will happily pump all day at high output and will just as readily pump long concert pipelines<\/a>. However, it is not the pump or the concrete placing boom<\/a> that makes this such a valuable addition to our fleet – we have many pumps with this pumping unit. It is the fact that the pump is mounted on the very latest Mercedes Benz Arocs 2633 chassis. <\/p>\n

This 330 bhp engine complies with the most stringent Euro VI emissions standard and, in theory, will be 4% more fuel efficient than the engine it supersedes. We will take delivery of further pumps this year from Schwing<\/a> and our other German supplier Putzmeister<\/a>.
